PennAir Properties began in 1996 with a vision of providing quality housing for Penn State students.  The founders of PennAir are Penn State Alumni who felt that tenants should be treated with respect and as the adults they are becoming. 

We do have some policies that may seem restrictive, but that are necessary for a number of reasons.

No Pet Policy

Although we have pets of our own, we do not allow pets in our properties.  This is due to the high incidence of allergic reactions that some previous tenants have experienced while living in properties that previously had pets in them.  We apologize for this inconvenience, but this policy is non-negotiable.  This policy does not apply to service animals covered under the American's with Disabilities Act.

Guardian Guarantee Policy

We require that a guardian sign a guarantee for each individual tenant's rent payment.  This is due to the fact that most students would be unable to qualify to rent one of these apartments due to high debt to income ratios.  Rather than having someone co-sign your lease, and therefore be legally able to get a key to your property, we have implemented a policy that requires one of your guardians to guarantee your rent payments.
